Do you know the functional role of wooden sound-absorbing boards?

1. Basic specifications for the appearance of wooden sound-absorbing boards
Wooden sound-absorbing boards are usually made of medium density boards, high-density boards, Australian pine boards, or fire-resistant boards with a thickness of 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, or 18mm. The surface of the wooden sound-absorbing board has melamine or solid wood veneer, baked paint surface, and so on. According to the different openings of wooden sound-absorbing boards, they can be divided into two types: grooved sound-absorbing boards and perforated sound-absorbing boards. Among them, grooved sound-absorbing boards are a type of resonant sound-absorbing material with narrow slots on the front and perforated on the back of density boards, while perforated sound-absorbing boards are a structural sound-absorbing material with circular holes on both the front and back of the board, with non-woven sound-absorbing cloth pasted on the back.
2. Sound absorption performance of wooden sound-absorbing boards
Wooden sound-absorbing boards are usually coated with a layer of pentagonal sound-absorbing cloth when leaving the factory, which has a certain sound-absorbing effect. As long as there is a certain thickness of cavity left behind during installation, it should be used as a separate sound-absorbing material, with medium and low frequency sound-absorbing characteristics. If a certain thickness of porous sound-absorbing materials, such as glass wool, polyester fiber sound-absorbing cotton, melamine sound-absorbing cotton, etc., are filled in the cavity, it can effectively improve the medium and high frequency sound-absorbing performance of the entire structure.
3. Installation method of wooden sound-absorbing board
Wooden sound-absorbing panels can usually be used for walls and ceilings. When used on walls, attention should be paid to retaining a certain thickness of cavity, that is, the sound-absorbing board has a certain distance from the solid wall. Therefore, when installing, a layer of keel needs to be installed on the wall first, filled with sound-absorbing cotton. If a wooden keel is used, the wooden sound-absorbing board can be fixed on the keel with nails. If a light steel keel is used, the wooden sound-absorbing board can be fixed on the keel with locking steel clips.
4. Other performance and decorative effects
If wooden sound-absorbing panels are selected with fire-resistant materials, they can generally achieve flame retardant and fire-resistant levels. The decorative effect of wooden sound-absorbing boards is good, and various colors can be used on the surface, such as maple, beech, walnut, oak, teak, and other series, to achieve a good wooden decorative effect.

Effect of polyester fiber sound-absorbing board

Polyester fiber sound-absorbing board is made of polyester fiber material, which has the characteristics of light weight, good decorative effect, and good sound absorption performance.

What are the classifications of environmentally friendly sound-absorbing boards

The current sound-absorbing boards are still very good in terms of sound absorption effect, and have certain applications in places such as cinemas, shopping malls, hotels, and hospitals. Therefore, environmentally friendly sound-absorbing boards are still of great concern to major users.
